What are some of the things that my child will learn during art class? Our curriculum is designed to nurture both technical skills and creative aspects of your child. Our students will be exposed to various 2D and 3D mediums such as clay, mixed media, pastels, acrylic, watercolour painting and many more. We also encourage tactile learning and sensory experiences, learning through stories as well as artist-inspired classes. In addition to technical skills, we use art as a tool to learn more about the world and act as a bridge to introduce other academic subjects. We grow your child’s storytelling skills, soft skills, character building, problem solving and so much more! Read more on our Education Philosophy here.

How are art classes conducted at Art Wonderland different? We value the creative process of art making, which means allowing time for your child to jot down their observations or ideas in their sketchbook, and also have more time to explore various mediums and materials that we encourage in our studio. Art can be used to tell a powerful story, and that’s what we also aim to draw out from your child - a creative storyteller! We are not here to instruct, but we are here to guide your child to become independent thinkers and creative makers. We do it through: Inquiry-based discussions to draw out your child’s unique story (which means every child’s artwork is different from the rest!) Using the Elements of Art to guide our creative making Exploring and experimenting with traditional and non-traditional mediums Having opportunities for artwork collaborations and showcases
